when looking at it with the ranger sitting next to it, it still looks pretty big. I wonder if they scaled it down the same as they did the other mini's. cause that would still make it pretty big. But anywho the size looks good.

I'm not sure where you got that, but the official Guild Wars US Website says nothing of a deadline, therefore I'd say your source is wrong.

If you mean the dragon, yes, it will follow you around and do its best at taunting non-CE players.
If you mean the ranger, you'll have to ask her.

I was trying to prevent the bottom scroll bar to kick in from the size of thie image but people do need to see the ranger for size comparison.

if I remember correctly(from Gaile chat ingame)...that is Gaile's Ranger?
to Xaniera: Yup. I think you are mentioning her Tyrian charac. but she has a faction ranger.

Maybe, if she got new armor. Gaile had starter (pre-searing) ranger armor last time I checked.
Still can't believe I'll be getting such a bonus in a couple days, I'll go do a dance with my backups whilst a dragon flaps 'round my head when it arrives.

hehe funny BOB, baby steps BOB. or in this case with wings, fly low BOB.
yes I will have to get the ce now, was goign to be a week before i get game, tight on money but now have to fork over a tad more for the dragon. When they asked what new pets the ranger should get, I asked for the dragon seeing they doing heavy asian theme, and I had one already in EQ2.
later and enjoy him, BOB that is.

We all know it's against the policy, but does it stop everyone from doing so? Just like we all know what the speed limit is when we're driving, but are we all going to be doing that? And stop saying you get those extra junk with the boxes. I can bet you those extra junk doesn't cost anywhere near $20-30 for those items. Stickers, book, cd, etc... figure out the costs of those items and you'll be surprise those extra items only costs $2 or so to make. I'm sure the marketing for the game costs way more.

I don't know, I'd have to say the extras do account for about $20. If you buy the soundtrack separately, it'll cost you $10. Yeah, you can make the argument that the stuff probably cost $2 to make, but you can make that argument for a lot of things you buy. You think the t-shirts and jeans you buy really cost $20-30 to make? Hell, the USB cables you can buy from BB cost $5 to make and they sell them for $25. In either case, I'm happy about the dragon (I worked out a way to have my cake and eat it too) and I look forward to checking it out next week. Will I sell? I guess that depends on much someone wants to give me. As it stands right now, based on the screenshots, it looks way too cool to sell.

Am I the only one not excited about this? I freaked when I 1st found out about the mini pets, got myself a shiro and bone dragon, and honestly am very dissapointed. You can't use them in towns. They dont do anything aside from hang around. Usually when I am outside im busy fighting and noone cares about this little thing moving around. I actually got yelled at in a group the other day because my bone dragon makes noise. So I dont use it anymore. If you could use them in towns, that would completely change their lack of appeal for me.

These mini pets are the same as the mini pets in WoW, they've always been neutral and just hung around. Although if they can appear in town, it would be kick ass, but I'm sure there's legit reasons why they cannot appear in town.

Yeah im sure they have a reason. But because of that, I completely lost interest in them. They were cool for about 2 days. I think the Kuunavang is a nice thank you gift, but I cant get over the fact that you can't use them in towns.

Unless you rolled them, part of the reason you might not be excited now, and disappointed, is because you spent money on them.

A sudden burst of high prices, then a major drop-off.
It's nothing to fret over, it's the way things work with everything in this game, and it's not a valid reason to make anything non-transferable.
